I just wanted to post to let everyone know that I tried to link this journal to Facebook so I can share my creativity with you! Let's hope it works!

This is my birthday album. I realized that I haven't taken pictures of my Mom's birthday cards for the past 2 years, nor did I take pictures of Anthony's birthday cards for the past two years. My mom's are easy, she has saved them in an album. Ant's on the other hand, that may be tough. I have a mock up of the first card I made, and the second one, maybe I can remember and remake. I like having samples of my work on hand. Eventually I'll need to make an invitation gallery, Valentine's Day gallery, and Sympathy/Thinking of You gallery, followed up with demonstrator galleries with cards I've made with Lori, Liza, Linda, and Jeannette. Then I'll dig out some SU! cards I've received from other paper crafters!

No, not really. If I was working on my Christmas cards now I'm either REALLY behind or REALLY early. Neither is the case. It's just I only get to upload pictures on my snowdays, and I prefer not to overwhelm everyone with all the cards I have stored on my camera, so I'm taking it slow. Today I'll share my Christmas cards from this past Christmas. I came up with an idea before Thanksgiving, but after I bought supplies during Black Friday sales I made some adjustments. I also have some "special occasion" cards that just happen to be Christmas-y to share as well. I still need to create galleries for Thanksgiving invitations, birthday cards, Valentine's day, and sympathy/thinking of you. Thanks for looking!

It just so happens that this fall and winter was the season of little boys. Actually, 2009 was also the year of the baby, as I had to make 3 baby boy and 1 baby girl card for 3 showers and 1 birth. This winter brings the birth of a baby boy to a coworker of mine. Her shower is Friday, so I'd better get stamping! Here are some of my baby cards that I've made since having a digital camera back!

Here are some thank you notes made using Stampin' Up!'s Pocket Silhouettes set and a retired set called Take Three. They were cased from this post on SplitCoast http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/galle ry/photo/1440944. I used VersaMark ink on the blue background, and a blue ink to match my cardstock. I did a little bit of masking to get just one butterfly in each circle.
Thanks for looking! Soon I'll add on some old cards from demonstrator's workshops, and my Christmas cards, both past and present!

After watching other great stampers share their ideas on blogs for the past year, I thought maybe I'd try it out myself! Soon I'll upload some pictures of cards I've made.
